Description We have designed a 500sq.m 4-bedroom contemporary private dwelling within the Cedars conservation area. The building form and layout interacts with the existing mature and protected trees on site as the main design concept in this responsive, sustainable design. The design is open plan with internal spaces defined by glass walls that use the existing trees and foliage as summer solar shading helping to combine the garden and the house as one. The materials are white render, timber cladding, glass and a sedum roof. Planning Reference – 07/03659/FUL
