Description: The site lies within the historic core of Sunniside in Sunderland. The proposal comprises the demolition of the existing buildings and erection of a new six storey structure containing 23 apartments and 3 commercial units. All apartments have a loggia or a balcony and the the single storey element has a sedum roof. As well as the environmental benefits, the living roof gives apartment residents a pleasant view from above and offers similar views to the resident's of the adjacent scheme.
