Project: Kidney dialysis and holiday accommodation

Description: Designs are underway for a new satellite kidney dialysis centre with a cafe, restaurant and function space for the general public. The development will provide much needed care and accommodation for patients who would like a holiday whilst undergoing dialysis treatment. The site is currently occupied by a public house on the sea front at South Shields. A planning application is expected in early 2010.
