Description: The scheme includes a new teaching workshop facility at the Hylton Campus of Sunderland College. The building offers valuable teaching facilities to educate students with hands on skills such as brick laying and plastering. The new workshop uses black aluminium cladding to give the building a contemporary feel as well as providing character. The sustainable development includes an array of solar collectors on the roof to harness solar energy to supplement the electricity supply.
